Do you travel?
Yes! That’s one of the key features of our services. We will meet you at your hotel room, home, venue, church, etc. You may also book us for destination weddings or events outside of Michigan or Ohio.
I'm on a tight budget. Do I really need a makeup artist?
YES! Most women's daily makeup routine is NOT camera friendly and will not hold 12+ hours. You need a professional who specializes in bridal makeup to build your look to withstand a long day of tears, sweat, and heat. This is one day you cannot afford to leave your face to chance, especially with photography/videography coverage involved.
What products do you use?
We use a wide variety of professional products, and we have favorites from many lines. Some of the brands you may see in our kits are: Make Up For Ever, MAC, Dior, Tarte, RCMA, Temptu, Senna, Lorac, Kevyn Aucoin, Viseart, and many other prestige and pro brands.
Do you offer trials?
Of course! In fact, a trial application is an integral part of finding the right look for your special occasion. The trial is your opportunity to get comfortable with us, and it’s our opportunity to discover what you like and dislike so we can create the perfect, individual look for you. Your artist will record a detailed list of all products used and take photos for reference. That way you can rest easy knowing exactly what to expect with no surprises!
Do you offer airbrush makeup? What makes it so special?
Yes, we have a Temptu airbrush gun and use a silicone based airbrush foundation. This foundation is long lasting, oil-free and non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores). It provides a natural, dewy finish for a healthy, youthful glow on any skin type. Foundation is applied with an airbrush gun in soft sweeps over the face that feel like air. Airbrushing provides the ultimate lightweight, flawless finish. It is sweat proof and water resistant with up to 18 hour coverage! This is what makes it the ideal makeup for special events. Very little touch-ups are needed (if any).
How long does a makeup application take to complete?
We like to plan an hour with the Bride, plus 35-40 minutes per additional person depending on the services selected. Keep in mind we will also need about 10-15 minutes to set up, and 10-15 minutes to tear down once all services are completed.
Do you do hair?
Yes! We are a full-service beauty team offering spectacular hair and makeup services on location. Our licensed hairstylists are very experienced with bridal hair specifically, and are able to create a wide range of styles for all ages, hair types and lengths. There are no do-overs on your wedding day - which is why it is so important to hire a professional who knows exactly what they're doing.
One of the benefits to booking us as your beauty team is you don't have to worry about booking hair and makeup separately. You also have the option to book multiple artists/stylists from our team for your event. If you’ve ever been part of a wedding or other big event that requires many women getting ready at the same time, you know everything goes more smoothly if one woman can get her hair done while another gets her makeup done. And the process gets expedited significantly if you book more than one artist/stylist, which makes our team the perfect fit for larger parties! We'll also coordinate your makeup and hair services in a customized wedding day beauty timeline for you to share with your ladies - just one less thing you have to worry about. Our goal is to make your beauty experience easy and stress-free so you can just relax, sip a mimosa, and enjoy your morning with your nearest and dearest.
Can you accommodate all ethnicities and age ranges?
Absolutely! We have lots of experience with a global range of skin tones and types, and will have everyone feeling like the best version of themselves.
When should I book my wedding date?
Our most popular months are April - October and all dates are first come, first serve. We tend to book most of our weddings 8-10 months in advance, but will take bookings with less notice if we happen to be available.
